1. Who We Are
Red Light Registry (“RLR,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) operates a responsive web platform serving the adult-entertainment professional community — a directory, marketplace, content-monetization, and production-services hub.
This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices and rights you have. It applies to the RLR Main App and the RLR Media Marketplace. It does not cover the separate WordPress marketing site or any third-party site we link to.
For questions about this policy or your data, contact us at privacy@redlightregistry.com.
2. Age Restriction — 18+ Only
RLR is strictly for adults aged 18 or older. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. Age confirmation is mandatory at signup and there is no path around it. If we learn that we have collected information from a minor, we will delete it promptly. If you believe a minor is using RLR, report it to privacy@redlightregistry.com.
3. Information We Collect
3.1 Information you provide
Account details — email address, password, and the age confirmation you make at signup.
Profile information — for provider accounts (Independent, Agency/Venue, Consultant, Media Professional): display name, bio, location, photos and cover images, portfolio and gallery media, services, pricing, availability, equipment, travel radius, and similar profile content you choose to publish.
Content you create — feed posts, content-store items (“drops”), classified ads, job listings, messages, reviews, and live-stream content.
Communications — messages you send to other users through in-platform messaging, and any messages you send to our support team.
Reports and disputes — information you submit when you report another user or object, or when you raise a booking dispute.
3.2 Information collected through third-party providers
RLR relies on specialized vendors to handle sensitive operations. We receive limited information back from them, but we do not collect or store the underlying sensitive data ourselves.
Identity verification — Stripe Identity. Every provider profile must complete identity verification before its page can go public. During signup you can capture or upload your government ID in the app; the image is sent directly to Stripe Identity for processing. RLR does not store your government ID or biometric verification data on its own systems. We receive a pass/fail verification status and limited confirmation details from Stripe. Stripe’s handling of your identity documents is governed by Stripe’s Privacy Policy.
Payments — Stripe and RLR Wallet. Payments (bookings, store purchases, subscriptions, tips, ads, and identity verification) may be funded through your RLR wallet balance or Stripe payment methods. RLR does not store full payment-card numbers. We receive transaction metadata such as amount, status, last four digits, and receipts. Independent hosts who enable toys may also store toy connection preferences and, when pairing Lovense Connect on a phone, a local-network address so livestream tips can trigger reactions on their device; we do not log individual toy command payloads. During a paid private call, parties who opt in may share ephemeral toy presence and consent signals for that session only; we do not store private-call toy command streams.
3.3 Information collected automatically
Usage and device data — pages viewed, features used, approximate location derived from IP, browser and device type, and similar log data.
Analytics — aggregate metrics such as page views, followers, favorites, traffic sources, and conversion events, used to power the analytics dashboards available to provider accounts.
Cookies and similar technologies — used to keep you signed in, remember preferences, and measure usage. See Section 9.
3.4 Location information
We use Google Places to normalize addresses and power location-based search and filters. Location you enter on your profile or in search is processed to provide these features. Google’s processing is governed by Google’s Privacy Policy.
4. How We Use Your Information
We use your information to:
- create and maintain your account and provider page;
- verify that you are 18 or older and verify provider identity (via Stripe Identity) before a page goes public;
- process payments, subscriptions, escrow-held bookings, payouts, and the 20% platform fee through Stripe;
- enable core features: discovery and search, profiles, messaging, feed, live streaming, content store, classified ads, job listings, bookings, and 1:1 Video Sessions;
- provide analytics dashboards to provider accounts;
- send transactional and account email (for example trial reminders, booking confirmations, and security alerts) via MailGun or SendGrid;
- operate moderation, handle reports, prevent fraud and abuse, and enforce our Terms of Use;
- comply with legal obligations and respond to lawful requests.
We do not sell your personal information.
5. How We Share Information
We share information only as described here:
- Publicly, by your choice. Content you publish on a provider page or post publicly (profile details, portfolio, feed posts, listings, reviews) is visible to anyone, including non-registered visitors. Provider pages are public by default once verified; they are not public while unverified or paused.
- With other users you transact with. When you book, subscribe, or message, the relevant counterparty sees the information necessary to complete that interaction. Personal contact details are not exchanged inside 1:1 Video Sessions.
- With service providers — Stripe and Stripe Identity (payments and identity), Google Cloud Platform and CDN (hosting and media delivery), Google Places (location), and MailGun or SendGrid (email). These vendors process data on our behalf under their own terms.
- With RLR staff (Admin) — our moderation team accesses reported content, verification status, and account data as needed to keep the platform safe and to enforce our policies.
- For legal reasons — to comply with applicable law, respond to lawful requests, enforce our Terms, or protect the rights, safety, and property of RLR, our users, or the public.
- In a business transfer — if RLR is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, information may transfer as part of that transaction, subject to this policy.
6. Delegated Access (Social Media Managers)
Independent performers may grant a Social Media Manager limited sub-account access. Managers can act within a fixed permission scope (for example posting to the feed, responding to messages marked “Posted by manager,” and uploading media) but cannot access billing, payouts, account settings, or delete the account. Every manager action is logged with the manager’s user ID and visible to the account owner in the Manager Activity Log. If you grant such access, you are responsible for what your manager does within their scope.
7. Data Retention
We keep your information for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the platform. When a provider page is paused (for example after a Pro subscription or annual trial ends without an active plan), your content is preserved, not deleted, so your page can be reactivated. If you delete your account, we delete or de-identify your personal information within a reasonable time, except where we must retain certain records (for example transaction and tax records, or moderation and safety records) to comply with legal obligations or resolve disputes.
8. Your Rights and Choices
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or port your personal information, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to withdraw consent. To exercise these rights, contact privacy@redlightregistry.com. We will respond as required by applicable law.
You can also:
- edit most profile and account information directly in your dashboard;
- manage or cancel subscriptions and update your saved payment method in the Billing tab (handled through Stripe);
- control email notifications in your settings, though we may still send essential transactional and security messages.
9. Cookies and Tracking
We use cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember preferences, and secure the platform. After you confirm you are 18 or older, we also use Firebase Analytics (Google Analytics 4) to measure site usage — for example page views, sign-in and sign-up funnels, and feature engagement. Analytics cookies (such as Google’s _ga / _gid) may be set for that purpose; we do not use analytics storage for advertising. You can control cookies through your browser settings; disabling some cookies may affect functionality.
10. Security
We use industry-standard safeguards — including role-based permissions, audit logging, and reputable infrastructure (Google Cloud Platform) and payment/identity providers (Stripe) — to protect your information. Sensitive operations such as identity verification and payment processing are handled by these specialized third parties so that the most sensitive data never sits on RLR’s own systems. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
11. International Data Transfers
RLR and its service providers may process information in countries other than the one where you live, including the United States. Where required, we put appropriate safeguards in place for these transfers.
12. Children’s Privacy
RLR is an adults-only (18+) platform and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. See Section 2.
13. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the “Last updated” date and, where appropriate, notify you in the app or by email. Continued use of RLR after changes take effect means you accept the updated policy.
